Our tallow is infused with sage leaves, not scented with fragrance or essential oils. The aroma reflects the natural ingredients used and can be subtle, earthy, or herbal depending on the infusion. Because we don’t mask scents, aroma perception may vary from person to person.

Tallow is rich, but it closely resembles the skin’s natural lipids. When used in a small amount and warmed between the fingers, it absorbs beautifully into the skin. We always recommend starting with a pea-sized amount.

Our tallow is completely water-free. Many conventional skincare products contain up to 70–90% water. By removing water, we create a more concentrated product without fillers, preservatives, or dilution.

Because our products are made with natural fats and no stabilizers, texture may vary slightly with temperature changes. This does not affect quality or performance. As the jar nears empty, natural warming and cooling from use can cause the remaining tallow to gather into a soft clump. This is completely normal with pure, water-free tallow. Simply warm it between your fingers before applying.

Many customers with sensitive skin do very well with our formulas, especially the unscented option. However, everyone’s skin is different, and we always recommend patch testing before full use.

We recommend starting with our Unscented Tallow for acne-prone or reactive skin. Keeping routines simple often helps support the skin barrier.

Yes. Our tallow can be used anywhere the skin needs nourishment, including face, body, hands, and dry areas.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Because it’s water-free, tallow is naturally shelf-stable.

Because we work with real, whole ingredients, slight variations in aroma can occur depending on the harvest, season, and infusion. This is a normal part of working with natural materials and does not affect quality.
