Cowboy & Co. is deeply inspired by my life in the American West and my roots growing up on a farm. The name honors the rugged, hardworking spirit of cowboys and ranch life—something that has always felt like home to me. “& Co.” represents not just the products, but the community, the animals, the land, and the values that fuel everything I create. It’s about more than skincare—it’s a return to simple, honest, ancestral ways of living, with respect for nature and a deep love for slow, intentional craftsmanship.

I wanted to create something that honored those values—something pure, practical, and sustainable. That journey led me to rediscover the time-honored tradition of using tallow—a whole, nourishing ingredient trusted for generations to heal and protect the skin.

A few years ago, I became deeply interested in herbalism and holistic living, which inspired me to study holistic nutrition and attend beauty school with a focus on natural skincare formulation. That’s where my passion for creating truly clean, effective skincare took root.

Last year, I had a major cancer scare. That experience changed everything. It made me hyper-aware of the ingredients I was putting on my skin and fueled my commitment to formulating with absolute integrity—no shortcuts, no compromises.

This is a one-woman show—I do it all: sourcing, rendering, formulating, packaging, customer care, content creation, shipping… and more. It’s not always easy, but it’s deeply rewarding to build something with heart and soul from the ground up.

I slow-render tallow in-house using the traditional dry method, a process that can take up to 15 hours. My tallow comes from American ranchers who raise organic, grass-fed and finished cattle with regenerative values. I don’t use essential oils in any of my tallow formulations—only slow-infused herbs, done over 24–36 hours, for a gentler, more skin-honoring product. Other ingredients are sourced from a trusted independent herbal store and selected for their luxurious, therapeutic quality.
