There is something timeless about the rose. Not the perfumed bloom of modern fragrance—but the quiet depth of petals gathered and infused slowly, as they have been for generations. In traditional preparations, rose was valued for its presence—steady, balanced, and rooted in ritual.

Wild Rose begins with regeneratively raised, organic grass-fed & grass-finished beef kidney suet, traditionally rendered into tallow and blended with organic rose petals slowly infused into jojoba oil, then enriched with organic rosehip oil. Each batch is prepared in small quantities, allowing the character of the flower to unfold naturally.

The result is a smooth, meltable tallow with a soft botanical aroma—subtle, grounded, and quietly luminous.

Because our products are made with natural fats and no stabilizers, texture may vary slightly with temperature changes. This does not affect quality or performance. As the jar nears empty, natural warming and cooling from use can cause the remaining tallow to gather into a soft clump. This is completely normal with pure, water-free tallow. Simply warm it between your fingers before applying.

I am already almost out of my first bottle. This is my third attempt at a tallow product. The last one I tried was an expensive 'bison' tallow that I can only assume is mass produced. I was a little skeptical going in on this product. The place that I actually notice the biggest difference, is my fingernails. I put this on my neck, face, feet, scars, hands, and fingernails. My hands appear to be younger looking (look smooth and not a lot of lines like before). Also, my fingernails are growing with this product (this was one way that I knew that the 'bison' tallow was not as special as advertised.)

I went down a rabbit hole trying to find a tallow that was clean enough for my sensitive skin. I have rosacea and have only been able to use rose hip seed oil as a stand alone for my moisturizer for the last 20. Yrs. I’m now 56 and need something more moisturizing. When I found this wild rose tallow and saw that it was actually made with rose hip seed oil and didn’t have any essential oil or olive oil, I was so ecstatic to try it. Well, it is an AMAZING product. My skin feels so moisturized, it’s non-greasy, has NO off putting dairy smell and a-little goes a long way. I love that she renders her own tallow, triple filters it for impurities and sources her herbs from trustworthy organic suppliers. I am also touched by the relationship she has with the land & animals and honors where her ingredients come from. I am so happy I found your products and couldn’t recommend them more highly to anyone, especially those with sensitive skin.

I’m usually not a person that will give reviews, but this moisturizer is a must to review. I have tried so many other tallow on the market to be disappointed . They have all been either greasy, oily, irritating, and just sit on top of my skin and don’t absorbed. Some had awful smells too them or very overpowering fragrances. My skin is very sensitive. I have rosacea . Then i found Cowboy & Co! It goes on silky does not feel greasy, it melts right into my skin with no irritation. I love the fact that they dont use infused fragrances as well like other companies, and no olive oil here!!! I have recommended this product so many of my friends. I finally found a moisturizer that works for me and I love if you’re still looking for something you must give Cowboy & Co a try.
